Lisa Brown is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and educator licensed in the state of West Virginia. Lisa is certified to provide behavior analytic services to individuals of all ages and developmental abilities as well as certified to teach General Education grades K–6 and Multi-Categorical Special Education K–Adult. At Mindfulness, her primary focus will be children and teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as those with other emotional disorders and developmental delays.
Lisa holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Capella University as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia University at Parkersburg. Lisa is a Parkersburg native and has spent the last 16 years serving students and families primarily in Wood County. Early in her career, Lisa realized the significance of behavior on success. Since then, she has been passionate about helping children and families identify, learn and maintain socially significant behaviors that will help them achieve lifelong success.
In her spare time Lisa enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Lisa also enjoys the outdoors, camping, hiking and fishing. She lives in Parkersburg with her children and their 3 cats.
