Osric “Oz” Malone-Prioleau

Oz was born in Bremerhaven, West Germany in 1974 but grew up in Columbia, Maryland for 17 years. After graduating from Archbishop Spaulding High School in 1992, he went on to get a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a focus in Behavioral Neuroscience from Davidson College in 1996. In 2005, Oz graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Nursing and in 2007 graduated with a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Winston-Salem State University. Oz worked while pursuing a Masters of Science in Nursing from Ohio University and graduated in 2010. Oz completed three years of doctoral classes in Counselor Education and Supervision from Ohio University.

Oz is an ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse for the last seven years. For the last ten years, he has been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor from the Commission of Rehabilitation Counselors. Since 2010, Oz has been working as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatry in the state of West Virginia.

Oz has worked in counseling and neuropsychological field since he was 19 yrs old. He has been in the community setting since 1998 and has worked one on one in community inclusion, group homes, and as a support staff educator/trainer. Oz has worked in the community mental health/psychiatric setting for two years and in private practice setting for the last six. Oz sees adolescents and adults with mental, intellectual and developmental disorders for medication management.
